#HappyBirthday to the #March26 #BirthdayCohort (with @Keira_Knightley & @NatashaLeggero & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #PurpleDay @EpilepsyFdn @TimesNow | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains #Purple Day (a day celebrating the color for its relaxing effect that helps control #Epilepsy) in a report accessed through 'the bold hyperlink(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Purple (like #Purpled #Purpling #Purplish #TyrianPurple #PurpleHeart #PurpleHaze #PurpleDeath #PurpleFinch #PurpleMartin #DeepPurple)” is built on ancient words that mean "the |Shellfish from which |Violet Dye is made (a shellfish so rare that such violet was only used for Royal Robes)" ... tho a similar color is found in #Porphyry (a hard stone made of crystals embedded in a homogenous base ... and named after the rare dye)---inspiring parents to name their children #Porphyrios in ancient times.
The word “Epilepsy (the #FallingSickness #Epileptic)” is built on ancient words that mean Seizure (Take Hold of, Grasp, |Lemma) Upon (|Epi-).

It 'thrills me' a little that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Aries ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Diana Ross, Jennifer Grey (who ISN'T Sandra Bullock 😏 but was the girl in Dirty Dancing (the one whom 'Nobody Puts in the Corner!')), James Caan, Leonard Nimoy, Keira Knightley, Martin Short, Alan Arkin, Steven Tyler, Sandra Day O'Connor, Guccio Gucci (founder of the family fashion-brand), comedian Vicki Lawrence, Robert Frost, Amy Smart, playwright Tennessee Williams, noted atheist Richard Dawkins, "may be the best reporter of all time" (with writings about a few Presidents' scandals) Bob Woodward, philosophy-great Joseph Campbell, comedy-icon Natasha Leggero,

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

My Heart of the Nation calendar (which tells me which celebrations we (Catholics) are celebrating, and which color Vestments the clergy are wearing) tells us that this day's in ... you guessed it, Violet!
