#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #February11 #BirthdayCohort with @KellyRowland & #JenniferAniston (as @JenAnistonBlog knows) & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #VaticanCityDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains the anniversary of the founding of #Vatican City (Holy See) in a report linked through 'the hyperlinks' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word |Vatican| is probably built on ancient words that mean "the Hill of Prophecy" (supposedly related to ancient words that mean Soothsayer, Seer, Vates, |Foretelling, Prediction).

Words near it in the Latin Dictionary mean Bad Wine (as it's said
that the wine brewed there is sub-par), Inspired Raving, |Wildly
 TalkingVātĭcāna, vātĭcĭnor

I sometimes get a little mind-spark from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that spark from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Aquarius ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Jennifer Aniston, Burt Reynolds, Thomas Edison, Alex Jones, former VP-candidate (& 'Tina Fey'-impersonator 😏😂) Sarah Palin, Sheryl Crow, Eva Gabor (Lisa Douglas on Green Acres), Brandy (Brandy Norwood), Leslie Nielsen, Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black in the TWILIGHT Saga), Manuel Noriega, Kelly Rowland (without whom Beyoncé would be ... I daren't even think of it ...), Jeb Bush, bossa-nova pioneer Sergio Mendes, Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter in BOY MEETS WORLD), D'Angelo, Bobby Pickett (who co-wrote "Monster Mash"), Hon. Roy Moore

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

My Heart of the Nation calendar (which tells me which celebrations we (Catholics) are celebrating, and which color Vestments the clergy are wearing) tells us that this day is World Day of the Sick, with an Optional Memorial for Our Lady of Lourdes (clergy in White ... or Green)
