#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #November8 #BirthdayCohort with #TomAnderson @myspaceTom & #BonnieRaitt @THEbonnieraitt & ALL #TheFamousPeople) on #Cappuccino Day | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains a little bit about Cappuccino (tho you could fill-us-in on anything you know about the holiday) in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Cappuccino” is built on #Capuchin (or #Kapuzin), the |Hood- or Cowl-on the Robes worn by a |Viennese order of |Friars (the |Espresso-&-Milk Drink being so-named because it's the same Color as those robes
(The Cappuccino is actually an Italian invention, based on a |Viennese drink made of Coffee, Sugar & Cream (and various Spices)).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Scorpio ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Esther Rolle (Louise on THE JEFFERSONS?), Gordon Ramsay, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Tara Reid, SZA, Parker Posey, Bram Stoker, Jack Osbourne, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Anderson (co-founder of MySpace.com), Christine Hefner (former CEO of PLAYBOY), Margaret Mitchell (writer of Gone with the Wind), U.S. Founding Father John Dickinson, astronomer Edmond Halley, psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach, Jack Kilby (inventor of the integrated circuit) ...

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

Tell me about any of today's birthdays who're famous to you (and where we
 should've heard of them).

Do I mention any you haven't heard-of? Ask me about them in the comments!

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating with the clergy wearing Green Vestments for the day
