Catholic Online explains 'what Catholics are celebrating today' (and no, it's not just 'the assumption that Jesus was a virgin-birth because of course Joseph's wife Mary had never known the touch of a man!') in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Astrologically, their sign is Leo ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Ben Affleck, Melinda Gates, Napoleon Bonaparte, Jennifer Lawrence, The Jonas Brothers' Joe, Anthony Anderson (possibly named after Saint Anthony of Padua, who shares this birth-date), Julia Child, Natasha Henstridge, Debra Messing, Rep. Maxine Waters (she's done A LOT of high-quality civil rights' work, but I only know about her because of some unfortunate comments at a rally), Hollywood-royalty's root (maybe not its very first root, but very-close) Ethel Barrymore ... and lots more I don't recognize (maybe you do recognize some ... you can find the date at the birthday-cohort link)
