@TabForACause is now also supporting Innocent-Prisoners' #Bail-Providers @BailProject

That explanation is linked through 'the main word' below; but I feel it's more important to understand that word better. And I find that you understand words better when you look at the other words at the bases of the words you're thinking-of ...

The word “Bail” is built on ancient words that mean "|Captivity, |Custody, Charge, Guardianship" (possibly from words that mean "|Porter, Carrier (of Water), one who Bears Burdens (for Pay)," possibly from words in the foundation of Pack, possibly from other Celtic roots).
Or "Bail" (the Horizontal |Piece of wood in a |Cricket-|Wicket) is built on ancient words that mean "|Palisade Wall, Outer Wall of a |Castle" (Bailey ... a 'Bail' is also the name of the |Hinged |Bar that Holds the Paper against the |Platen of a Typewriter).

A demonstration of the work by The Bail Project.
On behalf of the thousands of people whose lives have been restored through the presumption of innocence, thank you for donating to The Bail Project. Your gift will help The Bail Project to extend an immediate lifeline to low-income people who are legally presumed innocent, help them make their court dates and, through these efforts, demonstrate that the model of Community Release with Support is a more effective, humane, and equitable alternative to cash bail. In addition, because bail is returned at the end of a case, donations to The Bail Project’s National Revolving Bail Fund can be reused to pay bail two to three times per year, maximizing the impact of every dollar.
