Review: I couldn't Spoil #HighlanderTheSource if I Tried! @getFANDOM

... but here's a SPOILER ALERT anyway ...
The word “Source” is built on ancient words that mean “Up from Below (see Sub-) + to Keep/Move/Direct/Guide in a Straight Line, Lead, Rule.”

words which support #Source #Outsource #Sources #Outsourced
 #Sourced #Sourcing #Resource #Resources #Resourceful
 #HumanResources (#HR)

To Keep Up on My 'Research,'

very punny ... image-search "HIGHLANDER spoilers"

almost "a spoiler," as 'The Quickening' has long been the name for 'when a fetus comes to life within the womb'

The Source is ... well, you know The Immortals are a race of beings who--living among us--fight in a war between "good" & "evil," -can only die if their head is removed from their body (which can only happen facing another Immortal one-on-one in hand-to-hand combat, and only on land that hasn't been sanctified (or maybe at-sea, I dunno) ... unless 'there's an accident'), and -cannot have children.

'The Source' is something many Immortals believe-in & -many Immortals (including Duncan) think is a myth. It seems to be 'an astrological occurrence that grants an Immortal "The Prize" (which is--spoiler-of-spoilers--a cure their infertility) if they are standing at the right latitude-&-longitude win the planetary/astral alignment occurs (causing him--according to The Elder--to lose his immortality, unless The Guardian moves him away from the coordinates---possibly by killing him).'

This film ... it's canon, but only if the TV-series (and most of its spin-offs) are canon and -the original movie IS NOT (or else it's in the same 'canon' as HIGHLANDER II "Renegade Version"); because you remember the end of the first movie, where Connor MacLeod defeats The Kurgen and wins The Prize (because Duncan MacLeod either never existed or -was defeated earlier).
The Guardian

HIGHLANDER: The Source is ultimately satisfying--tying up the HIGHLANDER-story (for Duncan's generation😏)--but there was a disappointment or two:
  • I didn't see Christopher Lambert (as Connor MacLeod) ... maybe because he's died in that canon?
  • a moment after The Immortals 'commandeered' a boat to head to the island where The Source was 'hitting The Earth,' there were no scenes of their sea-journey to the island (unless they were hidden among the other half-visible battle-scenes shown between the 'commandeering'-scene & the next scene (where I was a little distracted by the 'realization' that "Hey! they sailed to an island!")
  • a lack of clarity on 'what happened to Duncan afterward' (Did he turn Mortal? Did he go to another dimension or -to Zeist? Hey! Maybe that's where Connor MacLeod went!)
