The word “Satire” is built on ancient words that mean "Sated (by a |Dish Full of a |Contemptuous Medley of Poetic Fruit, intended to Ridicule |Prevailling Vice or -|Folly)" (influenced by the Greek |Satyr, on the mistaken notion that the verse-form was related to the Greek satyr drama).
