Trying to find out if MoveOn.org had a presence on TRUTH.Social, I came across (beside an article about whether-or-not MoveOn.org actually is Social-Media) an article about claims that 'TRUTH.Social is "Falling Apart"'---and they mentioned a network that was set to 'rise from its ashes.'
That network introduces itself on a page you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word “Mainstream” is built of the words Main & Stream (originally referring to 'the Principal |Current of a River,' later applied to "the |Prevailing Direction in Opinion, Popular Taste, etc." (first attested in Carlyle (1831)), and (around 1980) used by American Leftists reacting to the Media's then-Conservative Coverage of National Affairs (as it 'went easy' on the Office-Holding Politicians)).
