Restoring the True, Original Meaning of the #Rainbow (the meaning Jews & Christians gave it before the LGBTQ-campaign Stole it) | @ChristianToday

I discuss the stolen meaning in a paying discussion you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Rainbow” is built of the words Rain & #Bow (for the rainbow, that's 'the arrow-shooting tool' ... ALL the meanings of 'Bow' (including 'the violinist's tool (which was formerly curved like the archer's),' 'the bending over after a performance,' 'the front section of a ship' and 'the ornamental, looped knot') are based on ancient words that mean "to Bend" with derivatives referring to |Pliable, Curved objects.

Where The Bible tells us 'God gives us The Rainbow as a reminder that he'll never destroy the world again,' it's called הַקֶּ֖שֶׁת (haq·qe·šeṯ)---a word built on ancient words that mean 'a Bow (like that which Archers use to Shoot |Arrows).
Where The Bible describes the halos that John saw on the Angels, they're called ιδος (iris)---built on words that mean |Halo, |Iris  (possibly a symbol of the Female Messenger of the Pagan |Deities).

I'm sure this'll have a lot of people thinking 'can't a rainbow mean both? can't it mean anything we want it to mean?' And I understand that wish. But if I'm waving a big rainbow-flag, chances are that you'll think I'm supporting the 'differently-preferenced' before you'll think that I'm glorifying the fact that we aren't underwater!
