The name “IOTA (a MIOTA is 'one million IOTAs)” is mostly inspired by the initialism for 'the Internet Of Things,' but it's influence by the word 'iota,' which is a figurative use of the Smallest letter in the Greek alphabet (ι, first used that way in The Bible---Matthew 5:18 (|Jot)).
