Maybe @MicrosoftEdge misspeaks when they say #EdgeBar lets you #Multitask, but @MSEdgeDev is Right to say it lets you manage News/Distractions #Seamlessly
The main-heading of their page about their 'Edge bar' says you can "Multitask with ease using Edge bar"; but I think they mean something more like 'Let Edge bar hold onto your distractions while you focus on work (or Know that work'll still be there when you get back from reading the Edge bar),"
because you know 'multitasking' isn't something the conscious mind does! The best it can do is 'switch its singular focus back-&-forth between things-that-go-on-by-themselves.'
But I think they explain what it does in their report that I quoted in a profitable forum you can access 'the bold word(s)' below. You can read there and help me with some feedback; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word “Seamlessly ( #Seamless #Seamlessness #SeamlessTranistion #SeamFree)” describes things that are Whole, |Integrated, as if Woven without a #Seam.
The word "Seam (a Joint consisting of Line formed by joining two pieces, such a Line in an otherwise Smooth Surface (s.k.a. a Wrinkle, |Crease), or a Stratum of Ore/Coal Thick Enough to Profit the |Miner ... #Seamed #Seaming #Seamstress #Seamy #BurstingAtTheSeams)" is built on ancient words that mean "to Bind, |Sew."
