#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #December5 #BirthdayCohort with @FrankieMuniz & @MargaretCho & ALL the Famous Birthdays @Bing features) on #internationalNinjaDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar unveils some #Ninja-secrets in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Ninja” is built on 忍者 - characters with the underlying sense of Secret- or Hidden Person (Etymonline doesn't list the word, and 'searching for it' brings up the word |Cowabunga! an exclamation which they attribute to Chief Thunderthud on The Howdy Doody Show, -to surfers in California and -to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (no mention of Bart on The Simpsons ... at least not as-of noon CST on December 2, 2021).

The Anatomy of A NINJA, pinned from historyanswers

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Sagittarius ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Walt Disney, George Armstrong ("Last Stand") Custer, Little Richard, Strom Thurmond, Frankie Muniz, Martin Van Buren, comedian Margaret Cho, Nick Stahl (John Connor in TERMINATOR 3), "King of Gospel" James Cleveland, Joseacute; Carreras, Bill Pickett (black cowboy who invented bulldogging)

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!
