I discuss NETFLIX's MIDNIGHT MASS in a forum linked through 'that name' below (where you can MAKE MONEY by commenting); but first I want to understand that name better. And I find you understand names better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The name “Crockett” (which I suppose Mike Flanagan named after 'Davy Crockett (King of the Wild Frontier),' unless he just wanted an excuse to call their big picnic a "Crock PotLuck") is built on ancient words that refer to the Large Curls (|Hooks) in that clan's Hair, or -on ancient words that mean "|Kin of Richard."
