I hyperlink to VRBO & AirBNB through their names below; but first I want to understand their names better. And I find you understand names better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The name “VRBO” is an acronym (pronounced 'verbo') that stands for "Vacation Rentals By Owner(s)." 
The name "AirBNB" is short for "Air-|Mattresses, |Bed-and-Breakfast."

and--while I'm on the topic--

"Bed-and-Breakfast Lodging" has existed since the dawn of man. Mary's mentions monasteries, English-speaking European, colonial American homes and Great Depression American homes that hosted vacationers, but I'm sure there were plenty of cavemen, hut-dwellers, and ... what do you think 'they who hosted Jesus and His 12 disciples' were (if the ministry paid them)?
