Help @ssgTravisMills give Veterans @VFWHQ the #Kudos they Deserve, and Assurance that the Jobs They've Started are Faithfully Carried-On | also reassuring @mil_insiders, @MnmeUS, @TheCoinDad, @PawsOfWarUSA, @FlyersWarrior, @pxkelley, @LCCKare9s, etc.
I start to spread Sgt. Mills' message in a discussion (that'll pay you for participating) linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Kudos” is built on ancient words that mean "that which is Heard-of, Observed, Perceived" (University-Slang (taken from the Greek) for "Fame, Glory, Renown (especially in Battle)").
#Kudo is "a barbarous back-formation," since 'Kudos' is already the word's singular form ...
(making the word's actual plural #kudoses, I imagine).
Veterans' Affairs (and other United States' leaders) offer veterans this assurance ...
