Theory: @LRonHubbard was an Untreated Victim of #ShellShock (the pre-"woke" name for #PTSD or #BattleFatigue) | #Shell #Shock #Battle #Fatigue #Shelled #Shocked #Battled #Fatigued

I've been watching Scientology & the Aftermath, and it struck me that David Miscavige (and maybe L. Ron Hubbard) both got a lot of 'good feelings' (of accomplishment, profit, etc.) from that 'Third Dynamic"---a reason why 'they' (mostly Miscavige, but with implied approval-from-L.) would frequently use that 'Third Dynamic' to tear apart their former co-members' "Second Dynamics."

'How do they justify that?' I wonder.

Well, I don't know much about David's past ... nor much about Hubbard's past, except that he came up with DIANETICS (the titular process he describes in "the textbook for Scientology") during- & a little after-he served in the Navy during World War II.

Maybe that religion (linked-to thru the main words below) is how he managed to self-recover from the mental illness common to veterans.

What I show here is 'the group of words' that give "those word" a place to connect to your vocabulary ... deeper sources that firm the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The main condition I'm talking-about was originally called "Shell Shock" (later 'refined' to "Battle Fatigue" or "PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)") as its symptoms were originally thought to be the brain's reaction to the Force of Exploding |Artillery.
The word “Shell” is built on ancient words that mean "to Cut" (on the notion of a |Hollow Object that Breaks Open to |Release its Contents).
The word “Shock” is built on ancient words that Imitate a |Violent |Push, Jolt, Swing ... if referring to the action, and not to a Bundle of |Sixty Sticks or a Thick Lock of |Shaggy Hair
The word “Battle” is built on ancient words that mean "to Beat, |Strike" (see Batter).

The post I wrote that sent you here ... was a little bit of a Rick-roll; as the link there is labeled "L. Ron Hubbard,' with the idea that it's sending you to his biography-page (on Scientology.com ... to which this link honestly points).
