The Failure @POTUS45 as @POTUS | The Curse of #Opportunism (its effect on The Honor of the Office)

Looking for a picture about 'why people are calling the disease "corona" rather than "COVID" or "COVID-19",' I come across this 'splotch' of mud-slinging:
What? What about Trump's many press-meetings where he's all "It's probably nothing!" or "It'll just go away" or etc.?

It's because "The Buck Stops 'Here' (at the President)." But Bill Clinton (and many others, I'm sure) insist that The Buck doesn't stop at Trump—that he doesn't take responsibility for all the deaths that he contributed-to by not wearing a mask as a good example for his many possibly-infected supporters to follow!

In fact, it was the HHS Secretary Alex M. Azar Ⅱ who declared the emergency–and I'm not sure what-"public safety measures" the Turning Point USA meme is talking-about–but "under President Trump" is going to accompany that declaration almost as long as "TRUMP" will stay emblazoned on most of his buildings.

Now when I think of 'The Buck Stops Here,' I'll imagine Trump imitating Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow saying, "But wait ... until the opportune moment!" ... in this instance, not until The Buck would make you look good ...

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to ') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Opportunism” is built on ancient words that mean "in Front of, |Toward (or |Ob-) + Harbor" (CANOE-term referring to 'when the Wind is blowing |Favorably toward a |Port'; adapted to describe the Policy of Adapting Actions to Circumstances while holding Goals Unchanged (especially in Continental Politics);
(later applied to Socialism & Communism, "Policy of Concession to |Bourgeois Society in the Course of Developing Socialism").
