#OnlineConspiracyTheorists NEED to Regularly Watch #StarTrekVoyager-episode #TheVoyagerConspiracy, to remind them of the Danger of Information-#Overload | @imdb @StarTrek @STVoyagerGroup @STVoyages @Daily_Express

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to IMDb's listing for that episode of STAR TREK: VOYAGER) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word |Overload| is obviously a combination of the words Over- (i.e. Too Much)" and #Load.
The word |Load| (to Place a Burden on a Vehicle) is built on ancient words that mean "to Go |Forth" (to Lead).
just like #Loading #Loaded #Load #Loader

in case you haven't started watching STAR TREK: VOYAGER reruns (streaming on NETFLIX, maybe on other streaming-services, in syndication all over cable-television ... I'm spoiled; is there still 'non-cable or -satellite' broadcast-television) ...

... recapping the series—centuries in the future, The Federation Starship Voyager is chasing after a 'Maquis' starship (The Maquis (maw-KEE) is a space-confederacy, I guess; rebels within Federation territory); and Voyager & the Maquis-ship get transported into an opposite quadrant of the galaxy by The Caretaker (for reasons that don't really involve either of the groups ... nor any other group involved in the series, as far as I know).

After the transport, the Maquis-ship gets destroyed & some of the Voyager's crew dies & is replaced by members of the rebel crew. Over the years, they learn to get along as they make their 70+ year journey back to the Alpha-Quadrant. They encounter The Borg (the alien species that uses cybernetic technology to assimilate all other species into the Perfection of their Collective), and manage to rescue one of the Borg-drones and -to start her reassimilation into the Human collective.

And that's where this episode starts ...

'The rescued drone' (known as "Seven of Nine")–remembering the Borg's usual custom of downloading all The Collective's new information every 'regeneration-period'–decides she should construct a device that'll load 'all of Voyager's information' into her brain every night.

Well, all the information I gave in the two paragraphs above (with all the technical specifics) got poured into Seven's head, and humans can't handle that much information without imagining any people involved 'sinister plots.'

That reminds me of 'how we think of many of today's
politicians (although it doesn't take as much info to
drive us into 'conspiracy theory'-mode with those
 infamously-dishonest public-officials).
