Paying for #Reruns

That topic came to mind for a discussion you can join through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word |Reruns| is built on ancient words that mean "to Run (a Race, etc., a Motion-Picture, a TV-show's Episodes) Again (Back, Re-)."

As I was a little critical of myLot, I don't expect they'll keep that discussion up very long; so I'll quote it here:
That comes to mind because--I started with myLot thinking each post had to be 'new and different' (like articles in a magazine)--I look at the Most Recent Discussions and see several 'It's a Great Day, myLot!'s or 'Ate a Meal again's or various other discussions that are more like 'Tweets.'
And I guess those kinds of posts are doing well-enough, because people keep on posting such posts (I'm not using any statistical anaIysis to consider ... I think the only judgement was 'we earn credit when others of us interact with this; so I'll go and interact with "whatever they post" and hopefully they'll interact with "whatever I post" (as long as it's inviting for them).'
But what confirms my belief that broadcasters don't have to pay as much for re-runs is the fact that "tubi" has-over 40,000 movies on their streaming-menu and -a ton of old TV-shows (like a lot of local TV-stations do/did), and they're FREE (for us, as long as we'll 'let the commercials play').
