'The #Splash before the Crash' reveals the True Origin of @CW_TheFlash | @Quora @ScriptSlug @AwesomEmergency #Splashdown #SplishSplash #Splashed #Splashing #Splashes #Splashy #Splosh
They say The Flash received his powers from a bolt of lightning from a cloud that rose from a particle-accelerator.
But--watching the pilot-episode again today--I noticed a couple things ... well, one recurring thing---splashes of liquid flying up in slow-motion before Barry Allen was even touched by 'the Speed-Force energy!'
This makes me think that maybe Barry was "meta-human" before The Speed-Force activated him; that--as Oliver "Arrow" Queen told him--
'Splash' (below-hyperlinked to Quora's discussion on the matter) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Splash” is an 'intensified' form of #Plash -- which is built on ancient words that mean either "Pool of Water, Puddle (|Imitative (of the noise made when jumping into one of those)" or "to Plait."
