Atheism is the modern form of #Satanism @Shann_Q0 @Prophet_of_Zod ... #PsychologiTheism - #Satan #A-

First: No! I'm not saying 'atheists worship Satan!' Atheists know that 'such a character' doesn't actually exist.

Actually, that character isn't even named 'Satan.' People call it "Satan," but that's just 'a title' or 'a role' (like "prosecuting attorney" or "criminal").

The word "Satan" is built on ancient words that mean "one who |Opposes, Obstructs or acts as an |Adversary" (Slanderer, one who Throws something to Block the |Path, Devil).

A post on Twitter (linked at 'Satan') claimed that "atheism originates from Satanism ... That's the true reason atheists focus on Christians." My response (linked at 'Satan') was:
They're just parroting fractions-of-thoughts they pieced together into something that makes sense (to them). Christianity wouldn't exist WITHOUT Satanism (literally ... not necessarily The Devil, but more 'something to be an enemy-against'). In this case, Atheism. Since ... ... people want to think 'their belief that something exists' is crucial to its existence, they like to imagine they're "protecting" God from 'being destroyed by people's non-belief.'
From the 'foundation' of the word 'satan,' you can see what the original tweet might be saying (though it's so "layered in popular myths" that my reaction seems necessary ... kind of 'tearing down the world that's drawn over your mind (by the famous myth that described satan as 'a serpent that gives Eve the idea of taking forbidden power') to conceal the truth').

'A-theism' is naturally perceived as "the 'enemy' of Theism"—why atheists frequently insist that they're "A-theists, not Anti-Theists or -Christians etc." ... I know some atheists who are proud members of Christian churches! (well, okay ... at-least one atheist who's a proud member of one Christian church ... well, he may not be a "member"; but he goes to their services ...)

The prefix "A-" is built on ancient words that mean (in this case) "Not" (Un-). 'Other constructions using it' have ancient words that mean "On, In, Into" or ancient words that mean "Off, Of, Away from" (Ab-) as their base.
The letter "A" is built on ancient words that mean "Ox."
The word "A" is built on ancient words that mean "One" (An).
