The discussion above isn't about 'how either people in my personal life off-the-Internet view me, nor how people reading my various online-messages on 99.9% of the Internet view me; but it's about the "severe lack" of 'hits' (counted readers) that Blogger tells me about, the "severe lack" of 'hits' Twitter tells me about, and the "severe lack" of Twitter-'followers' (people who request alerts for each Tweet).

Of course, I have 'just the right amount' of  Twitter-followers (currently 'this many' (about 7,170) and more (or less, sometimes) each day). I don't start thinking I'm "lacking" until I start to compare my number-of-followers with the numbers from other accounts (mostly the Twitter-accounts of people who are 'famous in real life'). And I don't notice that disparity until ...

Tweepi is a Twitter-management website that tells you 'which of "the people you follow" are- or are not-following you in return,' 'when they last tweeted,' 'how many followers they have,' 'what-percentage (of those followers) they are following in return,' etc.

On Tweepi, I see that several of my followees don't follow me back---of course that's the main reason I USE Tweepi, since Twitter only lets each account follow 'a certain number of people' (the number varies according to 'various things about the account') and they don't delete accounts that are inactive (which CAN'T follow-back because they're not aware of the follow in the FIRST place); 

But the followees I'm talking-about are the ones that--tho they ARE active--continue to 'not follow' me even though I mention them in these blogs that I post to Twitter.

I might start 'guessing why they don't follow me back,' but I think the main reason is ... well, the main reason people 'follow' people on Twitter is "to keep tabs on 'what's going on'"; and 'following people (virtually, on Twitter & Television & Streaming & Youtube & Facebook etc.)' is "what's going on" with me. So the people I follow most (aphasia's holding onto this word for the moment)-ly are mainly going to hear about 'what's going on with them' (something they are probably trying to get away from when they're looking for entertainment online).

To make myself feel better, I'll look at the list of those who ARE following me ...
