Away From the House & Into the Field: #TheJoshuaProjectCoUK #Yeshua #Yehoshua #Josh #Iesus

If I were to just straight-out tell you "The Answer to the Question" (what makes a missionary "missionary"?), it probably wouldn't be 'the answer you know'; so I'll just quote this report/brochure from The Joshua Project, and you'll see, "Oh! That's what it is they do!"

The Joshua Project

January 2019
Dear Friends,
Time is racing ahead and we are already in 2019.
We are planning our mission trips now. They are not all booked yet as we cannot book flights until the funds are in the bank, but we are arranging dates. Kingsley will be visiting the US several times plus the home nations and Guatemala, Ethiopia, India, Tanzania, Ghana, France, Romania & Israel so far.
There are at least 5 Pastor/Leader conferences in other countries and several trips with larger teams. All this needs meticulous planning but we trust that the Lord is in control and He is the best arranger we know. Thank you for all your support.
God bless you!

2018 was such a busy year in our lives. As well as preaching around the UK and Ireland, we have been in many other nations across the globe
Several trips to the USA have been terrific. Such good relationships with amazing Christians whom we love so much.
Ethiopia was special as usual in February—15 years with mostly the same people has led to very deep and lasting relationships. India was an eye-opener in March with such fellowship with Pastor Sam and his beautiful family. We got back to Guernsey in the Channel Ilands and Toulouse in France. The Ivory Coast with Pastor Solomon. Several IGO Conferences and loads of Pastors' Conferences. Romania is taking off for us and Isreal was unreal!
Sometimes we have to stop and ask ourselves if this is really happening We love what we do, and God is continually opening more and more doors so what can we do?
I will keep travelling—as that is what God has asked us as a family to release me to do. I have often wanted to stop and go back to pastoring; but the Lord will not allow me to discuss that with him, so I will keep on. God uses the local church in an amazing way, and it is his first choice; but He is also using other sector ministries such as ours.
Sometimes it is because the local church has forgotten its global mission, and so we are 'flies in the ointment.' I will continue to challenge the local church to get away from the house and into the field. It is in the field that we meet the people God draws us to, as we seek to be obedient to his call. Thank you & God bless you.

Plans for 2019We are currently planning next year.
We start off the year again in the USA in San Antonio and will attend the Missions Conference in Destiny Church. Cathy and I will also preach in Three Rivers and Quitman
Then Cathy will fly home and I will go on to Guatamala with Pastor David Hartley. We have 2 large conferences in 2 different areas in Guatamala as well as catching up with our friends there.
Then it gets complicated, as I have a very quick turn around throughout February/March. I return to Ethiopia for my Leaders Conference and–on return–lead a team again to Jaigaon, India. We will hold several conferences there including a worship conference with the youth.
From there I return home for a few days and head off to Waupaca in Wisconsin for a very special outreach over the St. Patrick's Weekend. 'New London' is a city there and the name is changed to 'New Dublin' for the weekend, and it is basically a hive of debauchery. The church is setting up right in the middle, and I am preaching (as an Irishman) for salvation, so I am so excited about that.
So please pray for us. This will mean only days at home for the first three months of 2019, so I will need strength.
It also means that it is all go-go-go; so, little preaching in the UK during that time. That is fine, but it means that I need to trust on the Lord more-and-more as my travelling ministry overseas is all "give." I sponsor the conferences in many countries and pay for the flights and hotels. So please pray for us that we will see the Lord open up the storehouses of Heaven to supply all our needs. We are not worried–as we believe that the Lord is in all of this–but please pray.
After that, I need to plan return visits to Tanzania, to Pastor Pius and Pakistan, to Pastor Muazzam.
I am looking to return to Romania and Moldova and further afield in Eastern Europe. Also return to Tooulouse, not forgetting churches around the UK and Ireland.
Plus, 2 trips to Ghana. A very special trip for young people next Summer ... but more on that in the next Newsletter.
AND an exciting trip Cathy & I are leading to ISRAEL next July. We are the leaders and hope to have 30 with us. Ask for details if you are interested. What an exciting year is in store!

'The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it!
(1 Thess. 5:24)

This verse has been on all our Newsletters because we believe it. This ministry has been ordained by God and–as such–is maintained by him also.
Thank you to each one of you who has helped in any way; by praying or giving. Please continue to do so and may the Lord richly bless you in all that you do for him.
God bless you all abundantly today!
Kingsley & Cathy

The name “Joshua” is built on ancient words that mean “Yahweh (the Hebrew God) is Salvation” (the Hebrew is יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a); 'Jesus' comes from the Greek translation of the Aramaic short form יֵשׁוּעַ (Yeshu'a)).
