The word “Joust” is built on ancient words that mean "to Join (Fight with, Engage in Single Combat (with |Lances, |Riding on Horseback) ... |Jounst?)"
I've never seen that word 'Jounst'; but I see they say the word "Jostle" is related, and I can't help but think of the surname of SNL writer/cast member Colin Jost ...
