@CyberCPU with Points of #Animosity against @Microsoft #Windows11 @Windows

Rich explains 'what he doesn't like about Microsoft's "Windows 11"' in a video you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Animosity” is built on ancient words that mean "to Breathe" (the sense of "Active, Vehement Hostility" was secondary to it's original senses of "Life, Bold Spirit, Vigor, Bravery").

Oh, Rich likes Windows 11 enough (there's a video praising 'the good things about it' too); so he's found a few work-arounds for the bad points:
  • Hardware Requirements - not their 'standard requirements' (RAM requirement, etc.), but their arbitrary ones ... a bunch of technical stuff (and I don't think it's just 'because I'm so old ... where's the phone-cord???')
  • Setting Default-Browser (you have to go into the Settings and change every little function to an optional browser if you want to use it instead, but then Microsoft Edge swoops through and changes them all to 'Microsoft Edge' in just one click!)
  • Requiring a Microsoft Account ... just, no ...
  • the Locked Taskbar
  • Start Menu - lack of privacy for multi-user machines
  • increasing complexity of the same simple tasks
  • frustration with 'having to use Settings rather than Control Panel'
  • frustration with Advertising on our Start Menu
  • plagued with Bugs
