In the episode of Adam Ruins Everything described (and offered, if you subscribe to HBOMAX) on the page you can access through 'the bold word(s)' below), Adam Conover explained how--though you're egoistically "helping to save the climate" when you 'walk everywhere' or 'recycle everything' or #GoGreen or whatever--your actions just 'spin the carbon-pumping wheel' if you look at it #altruistically; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
