That Seems Kinda Backward ... not 'The Optimal #PinForPin Protocol' (for #Writers of the #WritingCommunity, #Marketers, #influencers) | @Bing #Pin #Pinning #Pinned #Pins #PinUp #StickAPininit #Pin4Pin #📍4📍 #📌4📌 #📌4📍 #📍4📌

Often I'll see 3 or 4 'writers' (or maybe they're 'beggars on Twitter' ... asking if they can "sell you" something, asking for donations (for a "worthy cause," I'm sure)), who Tweet 'Pin for Pin, please?' (meaning something like 'Retweet my pinned tweet, and I'll look at your pin & retweet it if it looks like it's something I'd retweet.'

Isn't that why we have a pinned tweet? If you have a pinned tweet, 'Pin for Pin' ought to be a standing offer---that is: if I have a pinned tweet, and someone retweets it; I ought to at least look at their pinned tweet & possibly retweet it. Cool?
The word “Pin

"(if not the acronym for Personal Identification Number ... #YouCouldHearaPinDrop #PinsAndNeedles #BowlingPin #PinDown #Pinafore #Underpin #Underpinning #BobbyPin #ClothesPin #Hairpin #Kingpin #Linchpin #Pinball #Pincushion #PinFeather #Pinhead #PinHole)”

... is built on ancient words that mean "to |Rush, Fly" (mostly stemming from the Latin for |Feather, |Plume (Pen), though Pin might also come from words meaning Sharp Point; or |Peg, |Spigot, |Fin, |Wing, Scoop of a Water-Wheel; from Luke 4:9 meaning Pinnacle, Promontory, Cape, |Battlement).

    1. Good to know ... although I don't think I mentioned "pinyin" in this post; but I'll probably do some research on it and add it to this blog!

What I would probably do if I needed something written in Chinese is 1) write it in English, 2) copy it & 3) paste it into Microsoft Bing's translator :-))
