#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #January9 #BirthdayCohort with #AmberRuffin @AmberMRuffin & @DeonCole & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #NationalApricotDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass @CopelandNetwork
... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'
Holidays Calendar explains why the #Apricot gets a holiday in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Apricot (\ #Apricots)” is built on ancient words that mean Early-|Ripening (|Precocious ... hmm, and some of its earlier roots resemble |Albuquerque ).
I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...
This Day's Birthday-Cohort
Astrologically, their sign is Capricorn ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: President Richard Nixon, Joan Baez, Bob Denver, J.K. Simmons (not to be confused with -Rowling), Chad Johnson (a.k.a. Ocho-Cinco), Dave Matthews (of the band with his name), Amber Ruffin, Sean Paul, Deon Cole, John Watson (probably not involved with Sherlock Holmes, but definitely a pioneer of Psychology's Behaviorism & Conditioning & Behavior Modification)
... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---
you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...
