#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #January22 #BirthdayCohort with @GuyFieri & #StevePerry @StevePerryMUSIC & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #NationalBlondeBrownieDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass @CopelandNetwork

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains the #BlondeBrownie in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The Blonde Brownie is a #Brownie that's called #Blonde because it's made with Brown |Sugar 'replacing' Cocoa in the recipe.

I 'strain' at saying "replacing" because the Brown |Sugar-version was actually
 the 1897-original.

The word “Blonde (\ #Blond #Blondie #Blonds #Blondish #Blondness)” is built on ancient words that mean |Yellow or "to Mix" (Blend ... making it mean something like Grey-Haired ... the French Fem. (ending in 'e') version may mean 'between Golden & Light |Chestnut'; further derivatives (with the 'Mixed' influence) mean Dyed—it's also a type of Lace (made of Un|bleached |Silk)).
The word "Brownie (\ #Brownies #PotBrownie #PotBrownies #BrowniePoints) based on the word |Brown.

(The brown snack is probably named after the |Junior-'Girl Scouts' group
that frequently baked them (who named their group after the color of their
 |Uniforms); but my source originates the word in the name of a |Benevolent |Goblin
that haunted old farmhouses in |Scotland, and also mentions a Camera that
took the word as its name (probably from its color & petite size).)

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Aquarius (in the wake of Capricorn) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Sam Cooke, Guy Fieri, Diane Lane, Bill Bixby, Steve Perry (famous solo singer who joined the rock-band Journey), Linda Blair (possessed little girl in THE EXORCIST), Lord Byron, Walter Raleigh, Francis Bacon, John Hurt, Jeff Smith (host of The Frugal Gourmet), John Donne

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

I haven't gotten my Heart of the Nation calendar (which tells me which celebrations we (Catholics) are celebrating, and which color Vestments the clergy are wearing); so I look at my KCM 2022 Calendar, which tells us that today's the day to read Genesis 39(:1)-41:13 (if we're sticking to the plan to read the whole Bible in a Year)
