My nieces are/were #GirlScouts, so they sell me Girl Scouts Cookies every year; usually I get Thin Mints, but either I didn't see them this year or I was more interested in the 'Dark-Chocolate' (which is actually more of the cacao-bean and less of the candy-sugar) of the Mint Trefoils

I'll 'journalize' the labels on the DCMT-box beneath the subscribe-bar beneath Wikipedia's linked-to (through 'those words' below) report on the Girl Scouts Cookies' history; but first I want to understand those words better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Scouts” is built on ancient words that mean "to Listen, give |Heed to" (#Auscultate ('to listen (especially with a stethoscope),' built on words that mean "to Lean- or Bend an Ear"). 
The word "Trefoils" is built on words that mean "Three Leaf (|Thrive, |Bloom)" (the cookies so-named are cut in the shape of the plant's leaves).
