#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #December16 #BirthdayCohort with @KrystenRitter & #LesleyStahl @LesleyRStahl & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on #ChocolateCoveredEVERYthingDay | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass
... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'
Holidays Calendar explains 'foods that wear the #Garment of Chocolate' in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Garment” is built on ancient words that also mean Cover (with support-words that mean "to Fit out, Provide, |Adorn").
I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...
This Day's Birthday-Cohort
Astrologically, their sign is Sagittarius ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Jane Austen, Billy Gibbons (of ZZ Top), Krysten Ritter (the lead role in JESSICA JONES ... also a fellow Rooster), Benjamin Bratt, Lesley Stahl, Arthur C. Clarke, J.B. Smoove, "Guinness World Record"-holder Jyoti Amge (world's shortest woman), Miranda Otto (Éowyn (the one who killed The Witch-King of Angmar ... "I am no man!") in the Lord of the Rings serials), TV producer Steven Bochco
... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---
you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...
