#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #November9 #BirthdayCohort with #DerekMuller @Veritasium & #RobertDuncanMcneill @robertdmcneill & ALL #TheFamousPeople) on #Scrapple Day | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains a bit about the meat-scraps/spices/cornmeal mix in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Scrapple (\ a.k.a. #PhiladelphiaScrapple #Pawnhause)” is a diminutive form of |Scrap.

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Scorpio ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Derek Muller (YouTuber Veritasium?), guitarist Tom Fogerty, Carl Sagan, Chris Jericho, Lou Ferrigno, Vice-President Spiro Agnew, Dorothy Dandridge, Sisqo, Nick Lachey, Robert Duncan McNeill (TFP says he's known as "a director," but I (and probably you) know him better as Paris (STAR TREK: VOYAGER)), Hedy Lamarr ... and lots I don't recognize

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

Tell me about any of today's birthdays who're famous to you (and where we
 should've heard of them).

Do I mention any you haven't heard-of? Ask me about them in the comments!

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica, with the clergy wearing White Vestments for the Feast
