#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #October18 #BirthdayCohort with @ZacEfron & #NeYo @NeYoCompound & ... You?) on #Menopause Day @NationalToday | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates #TheFamousPeople @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

National Today explains World Menopause Day in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Menopause (\ #Menopausal a.k.a. #ChangeOfLife)” is built on ancient words that mean "|Pause- or |Cessation of a woman's Moon-Measured Time-of-the-Month."

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Libra (on the cusp of Scorpio) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, Jesse Helms, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Zac Efron, tennis-star Martina Navratilova, Pierre Trudeau, Chuck Berry, Pam Dawber, Chuck Lorre (producer of the best sitcoms), George C. Scott, Peter Boyle, Ne-Yo, coach Mike Ditka, Bristol Palin ...

but those are just the ones that I agree are famous;
You can add
 your- or your friends'- or famous people (whom YOU
recognize)
 in the comments!

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating Saint Luke (Evangelist), with the clergy wearing Red Vestments for the Feast
