#LegendariumOf @nbcMANIFEST, how it lays #Claim to My 'Mind' (my 'View of the Way the Real World Works?') | #Claims #Claimed #Claiming #Claimant #ClaimJumper #Declaim #Quitclaim

I discuss the supernatural mystery-series & the way its fascinating narrative influences my worldview in a forum (that'll PAY you to participate) linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Claim” (meaning of a grain of sand far beneath "Manifest") is built on ancient words that mean "to Shout."

I hear (from the discussion linked above, I think) that MANIFEST follows too many storylines; but I think that what makes the main storyline(s) more realistic, making watchers feel more like 'part of the stories they choose to follow'---stories that are focused on ...
  • Who - the character(s) you might follow (I'll start on 'the ones I'm following and will mostly just put in the information that I can remember, but--for the ones I miss (and possibly the one's you're following)--check here where I'll find a little bit of information to add (e.g. seat-numbers, etc.))
        • 828ers - mostly the Passengers of the infamous 'Montego Air 828,' but there are a few 828ers who weren't on the plane!
    • believing the infant Eden Stone (the white stocking-cap in
the lower left) is her 'Guardian-Angel who is there to
Protect her from the flames,' Angelina Meyer lights a
candle & accidentally drops it, but stands there reciting
a prayer to 'her Angel' as the flame almost kills her &
subsequently gets her kicked out of the Stone household
(before she sneaks back in and kidnaps Eden in the
      season-finale)
Angelina Meyer (Seat 24D) - raised extremely religious, with parents who were so religious that they locked her in their basement after she came back from 'the 828-blip' (afraid she had been mutated into some unnatural creature).

She's probably 'as well-meaning as any prophetess ever was,' but her "divine anointing" is misread as- (and might very well actually be-) "a blinding delusion"---encouraged by Cal Stone's visions of his connection to her & Eden Stone.
    • Cal Stone (I can't find-or-remember what seat he was in ... although--since he and his dad boarded the plane when seats became available at the last minute--would they have been on the plane's MANIFEST?) - son of Ben & Grace Stone, fraternal-twin of Olive Stone, is dying of cancer before 'The 828 Blip' and cured after it, with increased "psychic abilities" ('The Callings' below) which he uses to make prophetic drawings in his notebook.

The Major called him The Holy Grail.

He disappears into thin air in the penultimate episode of Season 3, and reappears (aged-up the years he missed) to be seen at his mother's murder.
    • Saanvi Bahl () - actually carrying cancer-research on a laptop (that was destroyed?) on the flight.

Researching the cancer-cure that Cal received, she discovers that 828ers were genetically changed by The 828 Blip. She goes on to discover that there is now a Death Date---a set number of days/weeks/years in which each of the 828ers are doomed to die (if they do not Redeem themselves ... probably by following The Callings' instructions to save the destinies of the prophesied victims)

She herself provides an example of redemption's power when she cures her bleeding eyes by confessing to her murder of The Major.
    • Professor Ben Stone () - Father of Cal (and his twin-sister Olive), brother of Michaela, and he esteems himself 'the leader of The 828ers' ... not in such a way that he feels they ought to `spect hiz `toritah! but rather in such a way that he feels "responsible" for the choices each one makes.

But the most-important thing about him (the thing that's distracting me from all the other important stuff about him ... most of which I'll discuss in the 'Why'-section)? He's Prince Charming from ONCE UPON A TIME! 🤩

This--along with the way 'The Callings' feel responsible for the safety of 'the Lifeboat' (see 'What' those are below) leads me to imagine he's some kind of LAST ACTION HERO-'variant' (like those monitored by LOKI's Time Variance Authority)
        • Non-828ers - not necessarily 'Non-Passengers' (as there are 828ers who weren't Passengers), but rather ...
      • Government - people in agencies trying to uncover the mystery of Flight 828 (mostly for military purposes)
    • The Major (Major General Kathryn Fitz, a.k.a. psychotherapist Ellen Ragier) - commits various offenses in attempt to uncover the Flight 828 mystery, and Saanvi finds out and--threatening to kill her--accidentally destroys the antidote that would rescue The Major.
    • Agent Robert Vance - main intelligence officer ... you might think of him as 'the 828ers inside-man'
  • What - the story-events you might follow
    • Montego Air Flight 828 - the passenger-list (with its 'MANIFEST') of people who go through 'the 828 blip'; causing 'people' (Bible-thumping religiopaths?) to think it has something to do with 'Chapter 8, Verse 28' of various books-of-the-Bible, and striking many of the passengers with ...
    • The Callings - visions of prophetic scenes that--they are led to believe--'call' them to prevent disasters ... including
      • Three Shadows - Cal Stone frequently sees 3 shadows lurking near him---seeming to symbolize three criminals who are intent on killing him
      • Bleeding from the Eyes
         - some of the 828ers have visions of 'characters' (a lion, other 828ers, etc.) bleeding from the eyes---'MANIFEST'-ing itself in Saanvi Bahl's eyes that start bleeding as she closes in on some of the answers she's looking-for (and which stop bleeding when she Confesses to killing The Major to protect fellow 828ers).
    • Death Date - by observing the fate of non-Passenger 828ers (those who disappeared/reappeared in a similar manner to the plane's disappear-ance/reappearance, but ... different, I forget how), the Passengers figured out that--after a set amount of time (probably 5 1/2 years after they reappeared)--'death would catch up with them' unless they had obeyed The Callings enough to redeem themselves.
    • Lifeboat - after The Three were ALL destroyed (even though two of The Three had redeemed themselves before their 'Death Date'), it became apparent that 'the fate of ALL the 828ers (at least all the ones who had disappeared with MAF828)' depended upon EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM obeying The Callings in order to find redemption.
  • When - as much as 'when things happen' play into the story, if that's how your mind keeps track
    • The 828 Blip - the 5+ years that the passengers (those on the 'MANIFEST') of Montego Air Flight 828 missed (when Flight 828 disappeared midflight) ... years during which the passengers loved-ones had to count them as "dead" and start to go on with their lives (like the people not 'snapped out of existence' in the MARVEL Cinematic Universe ... possible crossover?)
  • Where - location plays into some of the plots' importances
    • Montego Bay, Jamaica - where everybody is 'on vacation'
  • Why - the motives for various characters' progress
