'If it's a #Coaster, does that mean the Drinks it Holds are From the Seaside?' the Punny #MountainHighFoundation Girls Got Me Wonderin` ... #RollerCoaster #Coasters
Charlotte & Traci Wilson wrote me (& all the regular attendees of the Brain-Injury Survivors' retreat they host) a little note:
As we coast along
Until Camp of `22
We're stopping by
To say "Thinking of you"
Charlotte & Traci
along with a 'Mountain High' drink-coaster
... tee-hee-hee, clever ...
They (at the Mountain High Foundation) list a few ways you can help them on a page linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that homonym better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Coaster” is extended from #BottleCoaster---a Low, |Round |Tray used for a |Decanter at a |Dinner (so-called because it was originally Wheeled and thus would 'Coast' around the |Table).
similar to the ones MHF sent, except those were actual wood |
