I THOUGHT I Understood Vaccines, but #Rachel @Maddow is So #SelfAssured I ... "Have You Been inside The Sphere," #RachelMaddow? | @Distractify @HuffPost

The way I thought vaccines work---the doctor injects you with 'the vaccine' (a weakened form of the virus), and the vaccine trains your white blood cells to identify the virus in order to send it into your colon (as they already do with all the other viruses that flow through your system).

But Rachel #Maddow--graduate of Stanford and Oxford--thinks the vaccines are more than 'just training-viruses.' The way she proclaims that it's 'the vaccines' that do all the fighting ... maybe 'white blood cells' are just some racist disease I "need the vaccine-for" ...

So-"hypnotized by society's schooling-spell" I am, I'm almost convinced that Rachel's 'public-policy undergrad & her DPhil (doctorate in philosophy)' give her power over reality---such power that 'her words become truth based on the very fact that she said them' (bringing up 'the quote from Michael Crichton's hit novel (made into a movie starring Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Lawrence Fishburne) SPHERE'* (SPOILERS at the *)). 

That self-assurance is useful for her job-title (talked-about at the post linked through 'the main words & names' below). Here, I list a few 'root-words' that tie that word into our lexicon....

You know those comedic cutaways of 'some guy reads the news'? That's essentially what The Rachel Maddow Show is---except she does it right! (i.e. pooling together A LOT of news-sources, explaining what they're trying to tell us, doing a deep-dive and hunting for the answers to the questions they bring up, and quite often getting/confirming them in THE INTERVIEW) ... just like she's been doing since she taught herself to read at age-4.

And about 'how the immune-system works'? I'm sure I've read it and seen at-least one video on it; but 'the explanation that sticks in my mind' is comedian George Carlin's description of his highly-optimized system (of-course 'confirmed by real research').

*In SPHERE, the main character joins a group of scientists to study an alien spacecraft that landed in the ocean eons ago. Inside the spacecraft is a large metallic bubble (the SPHERE); and when one enters the SPHERE & 'meditates' for a while, one gains the ability to create things just by 'speaking them into existence.'
