Are YOU the #Reincarnation of @LRonHubbard? Why Hasn't @Scientology Found You Yet? | @patheos @Scientolipeda @Wikipedia @JLCT @WhyWeProtest @MikeRinder

What I show here is 'the group of words' that couch "that word" (below hyperlinked to Patheos' report on Scientology's beliefs about 'the next life') into your vocabulary ... deeper meanings that 'firm the foundations' upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Reincarnation ( #Reincarnate #Reincarnated #Reincarnating #Reincarnates)” is built of Re- + #Incarnate.
The word "Incarnate ( #Incarnation #Incarnating #Incarnated #Incarnates)" on ancient words that mean "to Make Flesh" (i.e. both 'to take Physical Form (as a Human, Animal, |Object) or 'to Grow Skin as a |Wound Heals.')

Scientology agrees that humans reincarnate, but not the way many religions do (which believe humans will be reincarnated as different forms of life according to their behavior in this life). Scientology agrees rather that humans (or 'the Thetans who quicken their flesh') reincarnate as humans.

L. Ron Hubbard explains their belief in his book Have You Lived before This Life? I don't know if it's in that book or in one of his many other rantings/writings, but Hubbard claimed to be a reincarnated-'Cecil Rhodes' (British imperialist/mogul), -ancient Roman tax collector and -alien race car driver (of a distant galactic-civilization)---one of his past lives leading him and his followers on an expedition (which failed) to find treasure he'd buried.

Why didn't that turn all followers against him? I don't know (I'll explore that a little later); right now, I'm examining Justin Craig---a man who--after he was introduced to Dianetics/Scientology in prison--convinced himself that he is the reincarnation of LRH (even changing his name to 'Lafayette Ronald Hubbard').

It was on one of the reports about 'Lafayette' that I read about "all LRH's past lives."

About 'Lafayette,' ICS spokesperson Karen Pouw wrote,
I have never heard of Mr. Justin Alan Craig. The claims are unhinged and ludicrous. You [Jamie Lee Curtis Taete] could not be serious about running this story.
Another article and an online forum 'confirm' the story (not "confirm," more like 'copy without denying too much' ... well, the forum "counters" it with some 'reasons it shouldn't be believed'; but it doesn't call the claimers 'out-and-out liars'---i.e. they may actually "believe" the stuff they're claiming, but that doesn't make it "true").

VICE also introduces The Independent Scientologists (which I'm surprised that I haven't heard about from Leah Remini & Mike Rinder), one of whom runs Scientolipedia---a site that aims to "disseminate the wins & positive aspects of the SUBJECT of Scientology."
