An 'X-ennial' (my parents were baby-boomers, but the 'years' that define "millennial" have been slowly creeping earlier & earlier), I spent my toddler-years in a "standard American household"—where my dad 'went to work' everyday and my mom cleaned & took care of baby-me and watched soap-operas etc.
During my #toddler-years my mind was 'imprinted' with the "rule" that 'Grownups go out and do work all day.' In fact, I think it was 'that belief' that inspired me to "go out" to school as soon as I could (it was actually more like a daycare ... a Montessori-school called Springwater Children's House (or was it 'Clearwater-'? I dunno))
Maybe that's 'the spirit' that fuels my recovery from a Traumatic Brain-Injury (a TBI is like a scar; it'll never be "gone," but I've adapted my life to 'a new normal'). I'm finding out that I'll never regain full "maturity" ...
... so–kids like myself, loving exciting adventure-stories–you can be sure I luvvved (auto-correct thinks I mean "louvered" 😄) the 2020 Democratic National Convention—tales of dashing young independent citizens rising up against the tyranny of the Orange Monster ("Vote for Joe Biden like your life depended on it" ... I'm sensing a heavy hint of "Clap your hands if you believe in fairies! & it'll Save Tinkerbell!")
Fun times.
'That word' (below-hyperlinked to ') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Toddlers” means "one who #Toddles (built on ancient words that mean 'to Walk or Run with Short, Un|steady |Steps,' as is Typical of Children who are New-at-it ... |Totter; to Toy, Play)."
#Toddlekins #Toddle #Toddled #Toddling

I'm reminded that most adventure-heroes are individuals who–rather than 'making good things happen–spend most of the time "fighting bad guys."
In fact, Stephen "a Late Show" Colbert would introduce 'his summary of the day's DNC' as AMERICA ENDGAME (a brief parody of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, with Joe Biden as Captain Marvel, Kamala Harris as Captain Marvel, Barack Obama as Iron Man, Pete Buttigieg as Spider-Man, John Kasich as Groot, etc.; and of course, Donald Trump as Thanos).
Now don't get me wrong; I wouldn't put it 'past the GOP' to engage in the very-same belligerence—whatever gets The People to 'fill the seats,' no? But apparently Michelle Obama's "We Go High" doesn't mean The Democrats can 'stick to using higher tactics rather than using Trump's low, degrading, blame-casting "strategy"!'
