The statistic they report is always 'number of deaths.' What they never say? 'What a tiny percentage of the total cases that is' (less than 6%! most of the others either recovered or on their way to recovery!)

It's like they're reporting on a 'plague of exercising---millions! all lifting bar-bells! all of them injuring their biceps!' (not mentioning that "that's how muscle-building works!"
