You can see how the T-shirt is obviously a play on the old 'meme' "United We Stand, Divided We Fall" (originally used in a speech by Winston Churchill (tho Wikipedia traces it back as far as Aesop's fables, The Bible's New Testament, a pre-Revolutionary American anthem, speeches by Patrick Henry & Abraham Lincoln, Kentucky's & Missouri's State-mottoes, etc.), adapted into the chorus of the popular song ... a chorus that come back to- and focuses on-the phrase "We Stand Together").

Although I don't know why they didn't print 'TOGETHER' beneath the crossed-out "WE FALL"—would there have been a copyright dispute with the 'owner' of "Divided Together"?
