#ForcePower of #Levitation ... similar to the #PowerOfPrayer? Something I Don't Understand that brings up the #MatrixOf #StarWars @getFANDOM's @StarWars #Wookiepedia @DisneyPlus @Lynda_Lucasfilm - @CharlesCapps1 @VLifeMedia #Levitate #Levitating

What I don't get ... if The Force is just 'the flow of all things bending to the will of the Force-user,' why do people who use it to levitate things to themselves (particularly if they're trying to move the thing against the attempt of another Force-user or -the pull of an actual force) make faces like they're trying to 'pass some dense constipation'?

I've probably wondered about that for a while now, but I was reminded of it today by Charles Capps' Concepts of Faith broadcast (052 Rightly Dividing the Word (Off the Cuff Stuff) - Part 2) ... where he corrects 'most people's concept of the way prayer works'—explaining (I summarize) that prayer is more about 'seeing/hearing "how things can/should/might/will go" and encouraging/waiting-for/preparing-for them to go that way.'

That's the same way Force-users 'pray' for objects to levitate—they don't 'ask The Force to pretty-pretty-please "float the objects this-way or that-,' so-much-as they 'know The Force will flow with the will of the Force-user.'

Or am I misunderstanding The Force? Please correct
me in the comments below this post.

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to Fandom's Wookiepedia) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Levitate” is built on words that mean “Lightness” (Levity ... on the model of Gravitate).
