I'm sure most 'mature' people who saw the ad (just a picture of an attractive lady with the caption "AmourFeel" or "Join EME Hive" on it) would dismiss it as "just another dating-site"; but ... maybe 'something' makes it different ...

And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word “Throng” is built on ancient words that mean Crowd, #Tumult (on meanings like "to Push, |Press").

I think that--rather than 'trying out the sites' (which I shouldn't do if I haven't got the money to do it)--I'll go to their 'about'-sections (and verify them with Wikipedia or Snopes or some other such site).

We'll start with EME Hive (they 'case' it "eme hive," but ... that's just 'not my style'). The landing-page says first-and-foremost that it's the "#1 Premier Asian Dating" site, with over 150,000 "Happy Partners." And they say this at the top of a LONG front-page.

Their 'About Us' is about the individual administrators ... interesting, sure; but not what I'm trying to see.

They have another link that reads "Why it works." That leads me back to 'an article' on their front-page:

But I'm not seeing the answer to a question on my mind, "Can I--as a White Guy--join?" I figure the best way to find that out is just 'to try'; and--for all their talk about 'Asians only'--I don't see anything about it (other than 'where I tell them I'm Caucasian and that my preference is Asian).

I looked at the page linked through a "Subscribe"-button--'too rich for my blood'--and browsed some members' pictures before I closed that window and looked the site-up---not on Wikipedia (unless EME stands for ... one of the things Wikipedia lists here) ... no, it stands for East Meets East (listed on Bloomberg). Bloomberg tells me only (besides their contact-info) that East Meets East, Inc. "provides a dating site for the young generation," and that the emehive-link is basically a redirect to eastmeetseast.com.

Then AmourFeel: They 'welcome you to the site, and display a slideshow of female (at this time) members---before they even know 'what gender I seek!'

Their "About Us" reads:
