Will #SchoolChoice Somehow Make 'Students' More #Diligent? | @BlueOklahoma @OkGazette @OkProsperity @okcPatch @OKCPD @OklahomaLP @GovStitt #TheDesignerTeacher
I suppose the basic idea behind Oklahoma's Oklahoma Empowerment Act--that State School-Money should 'follow the students' (rather than blindly flooding the faulty schools)--is sound.
But it messes up in proposing--basically--that students ought to go to a different school if they're performing poorly. That somehow parents know better than college-educated education-scholars 'how best to teach children the skills they need for the future.'
I discuss this in a paying forum accessed through 'the bold hyperlink(s)' below; you can get paid for-joining in on that discussion and -starting a few discussions of your own, but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word “Diligent (Quietly and Steadily Persevering with an Eye for Exact Detail, Carefully Carrying out Tasks ... #Diligently #Diligence)” is built on ancient words that mean "to Collect-, Gather- (Speak←Pick-out Words) Apart (Dis-)."
