Cold War is a phrase that describes "Nonhostile |Belligerency" (The Cold War was a period of |geopolitical conflict between the |UnitedStates (with their |allies, known as the |Western |Bloc) and the Soviet Union (with the |Eastern |Bloc) ... the two nations were (and would probably still be if the U.S.S.R. still existed) regarded as 'at War,' but I don't think "War" was ever declared).
