#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #November21 #BirthdayCohort with @GoldieHawn & @TroyAikman & ALL #TheFamousPeople @Bing lists) on #Hello Day | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains the war-ending celebration in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Hello (\ #HelloGirls (what they called phone-operators after 'Hello' rose in favor over "|Ahoy" as the proper way to answer the phone) #Hallo #Holla #Holler #Hullo ... #Hullabaloo?)” is built on ancient words that mean "a Shout in the Chase (like #ViewHalloo?)" or words that mean "to |Fetch (said when one is |Hailing a |Ferryman, like a |Cab)."

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Scorpio (on the cusp of Sagittarius) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Goldie Hawn, Troy Aikman, Harold Ramis, Björk, Ken Griffey Jr., Alexander Siddig (STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE's Dr. Bashir, GOTHAM's Ra's al Ghul), Lawrence Luckinbill (Spock's half-brother Sybok)

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!
