understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you
look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those
words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc.

The word “Idiom” is built on ancient words that mean Personal, Private, Particular to Oneself.
That's a Good Start ...
To get through all 100 idioms, she had to skip over a bit of the interesting explanation behind a few of them. So I'll 'research' a few of the idioms a little more-deeply here ... eventually ...
