#Football Teams on the #NationalFootballLeague @NFL (that's #AMERICANfootball, as opposed to 'Football Anywhere-Else-on-Earth' ... which Americans call "Soccer")
Oh, other countries also have 'soccer'; but ... I'll get into that later ...
I was inspired to list 'the teams below the Subscribe-bar' when I started the post linked through 'the main word' below. Here, I list a few 'root-words' that tie that word into our lexicon....
The word “Football” is built with the words Foot & Ball (originally an open-air game involving |Kicking a Ball; Soccer also evolved from that game, but |American Football (Britain calls it ' |Stop-|Start |Rugby with Padding') was developed when |Princeton & |Rutgers met (at Princeton) & mutated the kicking-game's rules).
Listing the Teams of the #NFL (as of January 26, 2021 ... at least on 'the site from which I got the list-below' ... the list on the link was formatted weird (I guess it was for people who are actually 'fans of the teams' 😏)):

It seemed kinda weird that they didn't list 'Home-city & -state'
with each team; but it kinda works out that each team's home-
area is ... not really 'defined by city- or state-borders' (e.g.
where I live (Oklahoma City) is in the northern region of
Dallas Cowboy territory!)
