What's important here is 'that word' (below-hyperlinked to my post of the October 2020 letter from BVOV)---a word which you only know-about because it's connected to other words you know better, built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Last” is either (in the sense of "Final, following after all others") built on ancient words that mean |Slowest, Most-Late (or Latest), or (in the sense of "to Endure, Remain") |Furrow, Track (which is also the name for a Cobbler's |Model of a Human Foot).
