Well, it came up in the BVOV Ministries partner-letter I share at the post linked-to through "that word" below.

But I didn't 'just link the word there' to my entry on "phrase" or -"para-" because the word came up in a discussion on myLot. There, I proposed that The Bible & The Word of God are two separate things; and a 'closed-minded Bible-thumper' argued against that (she's not a regular Bible-thumper--a common churchgoer who heard 'The Bible said something' so it must be true--but she's "a Bible-college graduate!")

I replied to her "denial" with the simple fact that 'the copyright-notices in the front of most Bibles' don't read '(c) God (or YHWH/Yahweh).' And that somehow brought up 'the difference between translation & paraphrase.'

What I show here is 'the group of words' that give "that word" a place to connect to your vocabulary ... deeper sources that firm the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

So what is the difference between "The Word of God" & "The Bible"?

Well, in what might be a slight case of 'condemning themselves with their own words'; Brother Kenneth Copeland (one of many who use "The Bible" and "The Word of God" to refer to the same thing) says,

Meanwhile, The Bible reports something that happened when God spoke--(paraphrasing) 'God said, "Light, Be!" and there was light.--telling me that The Word of God is 'the created thing, when it's being or behaving in the way God intends it to.'
