At the linked-to 'moment in the video of comedian Lewis Black's speech to the National Press Club,' he claims that this is "the only time [he]'ll use that word."

What about Roasts (where comedians & other celebrities gather--on a 'dais'--to 'praise' (through insults) a particularly bright shining star)? Has he never performed at one of those? Is he telling us he refuses to perform at one of those if they invite him?

What 'group of words' give "that word" a place to connect to your vocabulary? ... deeper sources that firm the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
